Michael Huber Director, Maryland Government Affairs

Michael is a government relations professional with Johns Hopkins University & Medicine. He currently manages a complex portfolio of legislative and regulatory issues in the health care and higher education sectors.

Before coming to Johns Hopkins, Michael served for many years in Baltimore City government, including serving as Chief of Staff to the Mayor. In that role, he advised the Mayor and helped lead the City through the COVID-19 pandemic and a spike in violent crime, among many other challenges.

Michael has a B.A. from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
